What Is the Online Season?

The Total Carp League Online Season is a 10-match, fish-where-you-like competition where anglers from across the UK (and beyond) can compete from their local lake to earn points, win prizes, and fight for a place on the Total Carp League Leaderboard.

This ain’t no Facebook group weigh-in – this is a structured, judged, and fair online league, run by anglers, for anglers.

Format: 10 Online Matches

10 Matches Over the Season
(Typically 1 per month – dates announced in advance)

24-Hour Fishing Window
You fish any venue of your choice within the set 24-hour timeframe.

Submit Your Catch via our online form (with proof of weight & timestamp).

Live Leaderboards updated after each match.

How It Works

1. Sign Up via the website & pay your online entry fee.

2. You’ll receive your unique match code 24 hours before each match starts.

3. Fish anywhere you like during the match window.

4. Submit your catches with a photo, weight, and timestamp holding the code.

5. Scores are verified and ranked – leaderboard goes live within 24 hours.

Scoring System (Per Match)

Scoring System – 1lb = 1 Point
Every pound of your total weight equals 1 point. Ounces aren’t counted live but will be added together at the end of your session – every 16oz equals 1 extra point. This keeps the scoring simple and fair for everyone.

Example:

Fish 1: 23lb 8oz

Fish 2: 17lb 12oz
Total = 40lb 20oz → 41 points

but allows for a few bad days or missed events
